On the anniversary of Craig Breen's death, a memorial to the Irish driver was unveiled at the crash site. During the commemoration, the president of the Croatian Automobile and Karting Federation, Robert Markt, and the president of the Croatia Rally Organizing Committee Daniel Šaškin, addressed those present. On that occasion, the mayor of Lobor Ljubica Jembrih, Lobor Fire Brigade representative Damir Levanić and members of the Organizing Committee of Croatia Rally laid the candles.
"It is our duty to remeber Craig and that is why we have gathered for this commemoration and the monument unveiling. Fellow Irish and Croatian people have become closer after this tragedy. I've been in contact with Craig's family and I have expressed our sympathies to them. We will not allow memory on Craig to fade away", said Daniel Šaškin.
